TO ENSURE ACCOUNTABLE USE OF TIME AND RESOURCES, SERVICES ARE FACILITATED THROUGH THE REHABILITATION PROGRAMS AND AGENCIES WITH WHICH WE PARTNER, AND NOT NECESSARILY WITH THE INDIVIDUAL RECIPIENTS THEMSELVES.

IN MOST CASES, INDIVIDUALS ELIGIBLE FOR SUPPORT MUST BE ENTERING INTO, OR CURRENTLY RESIDING IN, A TRUSTED REHAB FACILITY OR SOBER LIVING PROGRAM.

Transportation is one of many obstacles which prevent our men and women in recovery from focusing on the true issues and re-building lives. 

Evan's own experience showed him that many don't have the means to:

• Travel safely for intake to trusted detox and residential treatment facilities

• Regularly get to support group meetings, church, jobs, legal obligations, healthcare needs, and outpatient services while residing in an accountable sober living program

Through various methods, including in-person transport and facilitating rides through third-party services, FHF works to remove such an obstacle for deserving individuals so more attention can be devoted to staying sober and re-building lives in a healthy manner. 

And, God willing, we welcome the opportunities to share our own stories of recovery and hope along the way.

Residential treatment and sober living are the processes by which Evan's road to recovery, along with so many others, truly took root. Unfortunately, not everyone has the means to enter into such a process or employ intensive rehabilitation services. 

Our large-scale fundraising efforts aim to provide various forms of financial aid to deserving individuals seeking help in the form of inpatient/residential treatment, sober living, and other means of intensive rehabilitation.
